Kendrick Lamar Accepts His Pulitzer Prize
One of the world's top rappers Kendrick Lamar has officially accepted his Pulitzer Prize. His album 'DAMN', was announced to have won the award in April for its lyricism and marks the first time an album that is not jazz or classical has won.
According to the prize board, 'DAMN.' is a “virtuosic song collection unified by its vernacular authenticity and rhythmic dynamism that offers affecting vignettes capturing the complexity of modern African-American life.”
