LeBron James And The Cleveland Cavaliers Kick Off New NBA Season In Style
With his 43rd career triple-double, LeBron James led the Cavs to a dominant win over the New York Knicks for the NBA regular season's first scheduled game.
A night that saw the Cavaliers raise their first ever NBA championship banner into the rafters, showed the defending champions coming out strong for the new season. The attention quickly turned to King James as he became the first person since the 2006-07 season (Jason Kidd) to bank a triple-double in a season opener.
In what was a close game for the first half, Cleveland turned things on in the second half, outscoring the Knicks 69-43 and turning the game into a blowout.
