Anthony Davis Has Requested A Trade
There's been a lot speculation that Anthony Davis has had no interest in continuing his contract with the New Orleans Pelicans, and now Wojnarowski has confirmed that he's looking for a new home.
Agent Rich Paul has notified the New Orleans Pelicans that All-NBA forward Anthony Davis has no intention of signing a contract extension if and when presented and that he has requested a trade, Paul told ESPN on Monday.

His agent Rich Paul has made it clear that Davis wants out of New Orleans as soon as possible. "Anthony wants to be traded to a team that allows him a chance to win consistently and compete for a championship," Paul explained. "Anthony wanted to be honest and clear with his intentions and that's the reason for informing them of this decision now. That's in the best interests of both Anthony's and the organization's future."
The signs point to either the Boston Celtics or the Los Angeles Lakers being the teams most able to create a package and still be able to convince him to sign an extension. The Lakers may possibly trade Lonzo Ball in the potential deal.
