JAY ROCK'S 'REDEMPTION' TOUR REVIEW šŸ”„

One of TDE's finest, Jay Rock, hit up the MET in Brisbane last Friday for his first stop of the highly-anticipated 'Redemption' tour - the tour for the album which won him a Grammy. Supported by B Wise and assisted by his DJ Mackwop, Jay brought a tonne of energy to the Friday evening crowd and got them hyped on bangers new and old.Ā Ā

After an introduction by B Wise to get the crowd vibing, cooked-asĀ Mackwop hopped on the mic to talk some shit and hit the decks to drop some TDE classics and get the audience riled up for Jay to come out. When he did, it was electric as he started with crowd favourite 'Knock It Off'.Ā

Flowing through his songs,Ā Rock's standout tracks included 'The Bloodiest', 'Hood Gone Love It', a cover of YG's 'I Just Wanna Party', 'Wow Freestyle', 'Money Trees' and, of course, 'King's Dead', 'Win' and 'Wow Freestyle'.Ā

The crowd threw the energy right back at him by screaming the lyrics and opening up death pit after death pit. One absolute ledge evenĀ lit a firecracker in the mosh, setting off the fire alarms.Ā

Jay Rock really proved that TDE still owns the game.Ā
