Kid Ink @ Max Watt's Brisbane Review
Kid Ink's Brisbane show was the third event of his Australian tour and crowds poured in, filling Max Watt's House Of Music, waiting to hear from the LA based rapper.
Donell Lewis and Kennyon Brown opened up to a crowd that were already hyped for the main event. After taking the crowd on a journey of their wide variation of repertoire from slow jams to high energy tracks, they had the whole venue ready and waiting for Kid Ink to kick things off.
Kid Ink's DJ, Manny Fresco, set the tone for things to come, dropping heavy beats that had the audience begging for more.
Opening with his 2015 track 'Faster', Kid Ink hit the stage with a huge burst of energy to the screams of hundreds of fans.
He had an imposing stage presence and a calm demeanour throughout his performance but made sure his show was one to remember.
Kid Ink mixed it up with some lesser known tracks but filled his set with a majority of his best known hits including 'Swish' and 'Show Me'.
Although appearing to be suffering from an ankle injury, Kid Ink left it all off stage as he battled through and delivered on every aspect of his performance, even jumping down from the stage to get among the fans for a few priceless and memorable high fives.
Once everything was said and done, Kid Ink remained on stage signing anything he could get his hands on and throwing his cap and towels out to the crowd of frenzied fans.
After having attended Kid Ink's two previous shows in Melbourne and Perth, his Brisbane set at Max Watt's brought it home with an intense energy and electrifying atmosphere.
Kid Ink plays The Foundry, Christchurch, next on 28 February to kick off the New Zealand leg of his tour before heading over to Europe.
