Ebbets Field Flannels
Ebbets Field Flannels is dedicated to preserving the excellence, attractiveness, and artistry of mid-century American athletic attire for contemporary audiences. Co-founder Jerry Cohen's upbringing in Brooklyn, near the legendary stadium's former location in Flatbush, instilled in him an appreciation for the region's rich history and the Brooklyn Dodgers' role as the first major league team to integrate professional baseball in 1947, with the induction of Jackie Robinson, a Hall-of-Famer.
Jerry's discontent with the "polyester era" appearance and styles of sportswear compelled him to seek out old wool baseball flannel and create a few custom shirts for himself. When people began requesting to purchase his shirt right off his back, Ebbets Field Flannels was established. The Company's emphasis on the lesser-known histories of baseball offered a unique aspect and brought obscure baseball history to the public.
